GUS CEBALLOS HAS  WON THIS UNIQUE 3D SHADOWBOX OF DC ADVENTURE COMICS #459!!! (1979)

He also decided to purchase the restored ADVENTURE COMICS #431 (with original art also by Jim Aparo) being one of his favorite covers.

There were 9 entries by people in France, Portugal, Canada, and across the US.

First they needed to answer just 1  out of 35 Trivia Questions about my work to qualify as  true fan.

SECOND
They had to answer this main question in 500 words or less.

WHAT 3D HAVE YOU SEEN POSTED ON MY FAN PAGE WHICH APPEALED TO YOU THE MOST AND WHY?  Also How did you find out about my 3D artwork?

THIRD
Their answers can be found by clicking #tr3dcontest used for tracking.  How well they promoted the contest via social media is also a factor.

The winner will be announced sometime July 7th.   I will probably make a video with witnesses present.

Since I will be attending the San Diego Comic Con International July 9 -12 , if the winner will be attending also, I would prefer to deliver the prize 3D there and meet in person. I will also have a few 3Ds on display in the Art Show. Some, like the recent Doctor Who 3D will be part of a Silent Auction for the sale of it.

Otherwise the prize 3D will be shipped out around July 15th after SDCC.

If this contest is successful, I may hold another contest in a few months, perhaps with a Marvel Comics 3D.

The Academy of Magical Arts (aka The Magic Castle)

Since 1973 I’ve made 3D shadowboxes primarily of comic book covers, other prints, and collages. These are just a few samples since I’ve made over 600 of them.

Please check out the photos of my 3D works, but keep in mind,
Photos and videos DO NOT DO MY 3D WORK JUSTICE. As with watching Magic being performed live, my 3Ds are best viewed and appreciated with your own eyes in person. The more you look, the more you will see. Others have done and currently do similar 3D work, but I have yet to see anyone match the depth and attention to detail that I have.
